Digital Society has been around for over 20 years helping with a multitude of computer problems and we can fix yours too. Just think of us as your lifeline of support.
Digital Society is an Apple Authorized Service Center for your Macintosh computer. For warranty repairs, simply bring your computer to us and allow 2-4 business days for diagnosis. If parts are needed, we will order the parts, and get your computer back to you as soon as we can. We know you don’t want to be without it.
If your computer is less than one year old or under Apple Care, and you have a hardware problem, there will be no charge to service your computer. Please be aware that your Apple warranty or AppleCare does not cover Mac OS X, third-party or installed software problems. We are happy to help you with your software problems at a rate of $149 for Level 1 Software issues, and $199 for Level 2 software issues.
We also repair computers not covered under Apple warranty. There is a $49 upfront diagnostic fee for laptops, iMacs, Mac minis and displays. The $49 fee is deducted from the hardware flat rate if you go forward with a repair. There is a $99 upfront diagnostic fee for Power Mac and Mac Pro towers. The $99 fee is not deducted from the hardware flat rate. Diagnosis usually takes 2-4 business days. Upon your permission to go forward with the repair, there will be a $129 flat rate for all Level 1 Hardware Repairs, or $199 for all Level 2 Hardware Repairs plus parts. Software issues are either $149 or $199 flat rate, depending upon the issues.
We offer a 6 business hour Rush Diagnostics for $149 for Laptops, Mac mini, iMacs and Displays. There is a Rush Diagnostic for towers for $199. Both diagnostic are payable in advance and are not refundable.
We’ve seen too many nightmares of lost data not to make this suggestion. Get into the habit of backing up your data weekly. External hard drives are not expensive and with simple good work habits, it’s easy to back up your data. If you are using Mac OS 10.5, Time Machine is an easy option as well.
If you would prefer, consider letting us back up your hard drive for $99 before we do service on your computer.
If your hard drive is failing, we offer data recovery beginning at $250 for hard drives under 500GB and $350 for hard drives 500GB or more. If we are unable to recover any of your data, a refund of 50% of the amount paid will be issued.
Drive Savers is a company in California whose sole purpose is to retrieve data, should we be unable to retrieve it for you.
